Hi Friends
I am sorry for the lack of posting. Since Abby passed I have not been in the mood for much of anything. My husband is in Oklahoma hunting the last few days of our last year on that particular lease. This is the lease that I was introduced to hunting on... I wish so badly that I was able to go with him. I guess it good that I didn't go, that way Abby would not have passed away alone. It is still so strange not having her here. I know it will get easier, and I am so thankful for all the kind words and well wishes that yall have bestowed upon me. I am so blessed for my blogger friends! I hope each of you receives a blessing for being so compassionate! Thank you.

There's really nothing anyone can do or say to make you feel better but just know that you are not alone and that you have a lot of people near and far that care. I'm so sorry for your loss and I know one day your heart will stop aching.
ReplyDeleteThe loss of our friend and companion can leave us empty and feeling alone, they leave us only to go to a place where they can meet us when our time on this Earth comes to a close.
ReplyDeleteI have no doubt that our favorite pets and best friends will meet us at the Rainbow Bridge and we will be togeather in a differant life.
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
ReplyDeleteWhen an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

ReplyDeleteWe hope to see you soon Pink Camo Gal...we all are missing you. Let us hear from you. Your hunting buddies! :)
ReplyDeleteYou're still in our prayers, PCG, and you're NOT alone.
ReplyDeleteMay God bless you and keep you.
